Simple ways to control the information the IndieGauge app uses.

Last updated: November 1, 2026
Draft — not yet verified for release. Highlighted bracketed values are placeholders, and data-practice statements have not yet been checked against the shipping app. This notice is removed when release status is confirmed.

No account, no server-side profile

The current app has no account and we do not keep a profile about you on our servers. The information the app uses is on your device, so you control it there.

Change permissions in iOS Settings

  • Bluetooth: Settings → Privacy & Security → Bluetooth → IndieGauge. Turning it off stops the app connecting to your hardware.
  • Photos: if the app asks for photo access, change it at Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → IndieGauge (or Settings → IndieGauge).

This version does not request Location or Notification permission.

Remove data stored on your device

  • Remove a custom background image or saved configuration from within the app's settings, where available.
  • To remove everything the app stores, delete the app: press and hold the IndieGauge icon, choose Remove App → Delete App. This also removes its saved settings and chosen images from your device. Settings stored on your hardware itself are separate; use the hardware reset instructions for your device.

Support emails

To ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of correspondence you sent us, email [email protected] from the address you used. We may need to verify it is you, and may keep information the law requires us to keep.
